Hello! I’m a dedicated data professional with extensive experience in the field of Data Science. Currently, I work as a Data Steward at the University at Buffalo’s Institute of Health Informatics, where I manage data flow and pipelines for the institute. Previously, I worked as a Junior Data Scientist at a legal sector startup, focusing on data collection, preprocessing, and visualization. Additionally, I have experience as a Reporting Analyst, reporting institutional data and developing dashboards to support decision-making.
I hold a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Occasionally, I teach Data Science courses, developing engaging course materials and incorporating practical applications to enhance student learning. This allows me to pass on knowledge to future data scientists.
My expertise spans the fields of data science, data analysis, data visualization, building data pipelines, and ensuring data quality through data wrangling. I leverage technical tools and skills proficiently, including Python, R, Java, SQL, Tableau, Plotly Dash, Power BI, and MySQL.
I’m passionate about using data to drive insights and efficiencies and am always eager to tackle new challenges and collaborate on innovative projects. For more about my professional journey, please visit my LinkedIn.
In my free time, I enjoy playing table tennis and other racket sports (although I’m not as proficient in tennis!). I also enjoy VR sports games, a tech-savvy twist on staying active. Additionally, I’m also getting into golf, just in case I become a C-suite executive in the future!
